It would be a crime for me not to write on my favorite holiday. So here goes.
A) I am insanely happy!
B) I love green!
C) I love Ireland!
D) I love corned beef and cabbage!
E) I love Celtic music!
F) I love the Gaelic language!
G) I love Irish step dancing!
F) I love myths and folklore!
H) I love magic!
I) I love today!
My best friend Diana and I have a hugeish party because it is our favorite holiday. We had to do it on two separate continents last year, but we still both did corned beef, cabbage, and red potatoes! (Well, there is no corned beef in Germany so I got other special beef, although why it was special I have no idea). Anyway, we delighted again this year in that deliciousness, after searching multiple stores for two days for the beef, we got what I think may have been the last ten pounds of corned beef in Rexburg. So worth it.
After the dinner, we had green cake and lime bars, and I told an Irish myth, about Finn Mac Cool, the largest giant in Ireland, and we watched some Riverdance. It was lovely.
Thank you Ireland, for giving us so many reasons to delight in life!
